News From The Friends Summer 2017

The 2017 Summer Season is about to begin and the Friends of the Hampton Library have planned some amazing events to raise money for the Library. Details about the events can be found in the newsletter. We are especially excited about our Barn Party, a lively, casual replacement to the traditional cocktail party. Last year the Friends’ fundraising efforts allowed us to donate $26,000 to the Library. With these funds the Library purchased new copiers and a Comprise SAM Print Management SmartKiosk. This system will help the Library control printing costs and reduce toner and paper waste. The funds were also used to support the Children’s Summer Reading Program and to purchase museum passes for museums in Bridgehampton and New York City. We hope that you will support as many of the summer events as possible. The Library certainly is a worthy cause.

With Thanks, Tina Raymond & Judy Williams, Co-presidents of the Friends of the Library

Friends Check

Thank You Friends of the Hampton Library!

At  November monthly meeting of the Library Board of Trustees, the Friends of the Hampton
Library presented a check for $26,000. The money was raised by the Friends through their annual summer cocktail party held in July and Fridays at Five author series fundraisers.
The Board of Trustees and the Director would like to once again thank the Friends of the Library for their hard work and dedication to our institution and our community for supporting the Hampton Library.
