Computers and Internet Service
The Hampton Library offers public access to the internet,
including more than fifty authoritative databases in Suffolk
e-Resources, and the following software applications: Word; Excel;
Powerpoint. Presently we have four computer stations available
on a first come first serve basis. Patrons of other libraries who are
given permission to use the computers by library staff must do so in the
knowledge that they might be “bumped” at any time by a Hampton Library
cardholder.
We are also a wireless hot spot! This means
that any patron with a laptop with wireless capabilities can surf the
Internet from any table in the library.
Fax and Copy Services
These services, offered at a nominal charge, provide a convenient way
for patrons to send / receive faxes and make photocopies.
Homebound Services
If you have fallen ill or if traveling to the library has become too
difficult, we are happy to deliver materials to your home, select
books, or have them ready to be picked up by a friend. |
