Friends of the Library present the Literary Series of the Season

fridaysatfive

The Friends of the Hampton Library in Bridgehampton sponsor an annual author event known as Fridays at Five. Fridays at Five is a long time tradition for the Library and “The Hamptons.” For over 30 years, the Library has hosted a variety of well known authors on Fridays in July and August. The event is held in the beautifully landscaped yard of the Library.Fridays at Five

The evening begins with wine and hors d' oeuvres prepared by the Friends of the Hampton Library. The Author speaks, answers a few questions and then attendees have an opportunity to purchase the book and have it signed. All of the money collected including the price of admission and the sale of the books goes directly to The Hampton Library in Bridgehampton. Last year the money raised from this event was used to purchase and install automatic openers on the front entrance for handicap accessibility.

Admission:

$25.00 per Lecture or 8 Lectures for $175.00

NOTE:  Tickets and Season passes can only be purchased the day of the lecture at the gate. Gates open at 4:30 pm. Lecture begins promptly at 5:00 pm. In cases of inclement weather, Fridays at Five will take place in the Library's program room. Seating will be limited to the first 160 guests in line at the gate. Season passes do not guarantee admission to this event if the event must be held in doors. Seating is first come, first seated.
