Located on Main Street in picturesque and historic Bridgehampton on the South Fork of Long Island, NY, The Hampton Library exists to serve the East End communities of Bridgehampton and Sagaponack.
To meet the desires and needs of these communities, the Hampton Library provides an extensive collection of fiction and nonfiction books in print, as well as audiobooks, ebooks, music and films. Databases and Internet resources are available for research. Electronic resources, including the Online Catalog and Ask-A-Librarian reference assistance are available 24 hours a day at our digital branch: www.hamptonlibrary.org
The Hampton Library is also an important community center, providing educational and cultural programs and services for all ages. Programs reflect our community's diverse interests and include book discussions and author talks, arts and entertainment, crafts and cooking, computers and technology, health and fitness, jobs and careers, local history, parenting, and creative play. The Hampton Library is also proud to be a Family Place Library.
Our many services include job search help, literacy education, museum passes and one-on-one computer and technology assistance. Public computers and WiFi are available.
The Hampton Library in Bridgehampton is a Free Association Library funded by the taxpayers of the Bridgehampton and Sagaponack School Districts and donations made through the Friends of the Library and our Annual Appeal.
