 Kate Siegel’s humorous essay collection is based on the wildly popular Instagram account, @CrazyJewishMom. This collection describes life with the woman who redefined the term “helicopter mom.” Kim Friedman is an Emmy-nominated director of prime time television. She has recently moved to the East Coast from California in order to more effectively nag her daughter.

Successfully straddling genres, Jay McInerney writes !ction and non!ction books, magazine articles and wine columns. Favorably compared to that of F. Scott Fitzgerald and J.D. Salinger, he has been described as the “voice of a generation.”


Fridays at Five is hosted by the Friends of the Hampton Library. Money raised by the Friends supports Library programs and services.

Hampton Library Exterior Painting Project

Please Pardon our Appearance! 

The Library is having the exterior of the building painted. The project which began with the power washing of the building and removal of the shutters (to be repaired off-site), will continue through June, and (weather permitting) will be completed before Fourth of July weekend

During this project the Library will remain open however, parts of the Library may be inaccessible while the crew works and the paint dries. Please check our website, social media and your email for updates on the project and if the Library's yard and rear gate entrance may be closed.
